3250 HOLLIS STREET,
3250 Hollis Street is a to-be-built mixed-use property located on two acres on an entire city block in Oakland, California. The site is expected to have 124 residential and work/live, as well as 2,900 square feet of retail space. The residences will feature large windows and high quality modern finishes and appliances, custom countertops, premium flooring, designer lighting, and other special features. All housing units will enjoy access to outdoor space through balconies and terraces as well as beautifully landscaped common courtyards. Inherent in the plan designs is an effort to create an ecologically conscious project for the individual resident as well as for the larger environment of the neighborhood and city through the use of rooftop solar panels, sustainable renewable and recycled building materials, and low-e glass coatings.
Madison Park’s vision is to create a uniquely interactive, artful, ecologically friendly project that builds on the energy and diversity of the local community and becomes a vital component of the neighborhood. By utilizing various street front heights, the property will engage with the scale of the surrounding buildings.
The Project team is headed by Levy Design Group as the project architect, and DCI Construction as the general contractor. Levy Design Group and DCI Construction have been engaged in the two most recent Madison Park’s projects—Lampwork Lofts, which completed on time and has stabilized, and 3900 Adeline, which is currently under construction. Madison Park acquired the property in April 2015, which is currently occupied by month-to-month light industrial tenants who will continue operating until start of construction. Construction is slated to begin in fall 2016, and construction completion estimated for early 2018.
