1614 CAMPBELL STREET,
The Lampwork Lofts project was the conversion of a historic four-story brick warehouse into 92 for-rent live/work units. As part of the rehabilitation, we certifed the 115,000 square foot building as a national landmark with the National Park Service, allowing us to utilize Federal Historic Tax Credits.
The building was originally built in 1919 and served as the manufacturing facility for General Electric’s Mazda Lamps. The building also has the distinction of being the first industrial facility on the West Coast to employ women. The project was completed in Summer 2014.
